Spread the word, tell your freinds and neighbors so they can get involved.

Display a sign in front of your home, or in the window of your business and let your voice be heard!

Attend meetings.

Your presence at all Planning Board and Town Council meetings concerning this issue is essential, as it demonstrates to the township that there is a unified effort to stop any zone change. This will make a tremendous impact on town officials who will decide on whether or not to change the zoning and allow a quarry to operate in our backyards. Meeting will be posted on this website when they are scheduled.

Donate Money.

John Ursin, Esq., a prominent Sparta attorney has been retained to represent the interests of the CCAQ and the Lake Grinnell Association. In addition, Peter Dorram Associates, planners with years of successful experience in combating spot zoning changes, have been retained in the effort to prohibit any zone change.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!!! The fight to stop a zoning change, thus preserving the fabric of our lives, is expensive. To sustain our efforts until the end of 2007 we estimate approximately $10,000 is required.

PLEASE HELP. Our properties are being threatened by a zoning change that will destroy our way of life.. Please consider this defense of your health, welfare and property values worthy of your giving at any level to which you are able. Please send your contribution, payable to Concerned Citizens Against the Quarry, to:

Mary Donnelly, Treasurer

6 Helen Street

Stanhope, NJ 07874

You can also donate online!

If you have a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or a PayPal account, donating is easy. You can donate from right on this site by clicking on the donate button on the right side of any page.
